Morning!
I hope everyone had a lovely Easter 🐰
This ones a litle lighter than usual as I’ve been absolutely flat out for the last two weeks — stupidly late nights at the desk — but I’m also very excited to show you what I’ve been working on, the biggest project has just lauched as of this morning 😎 (see below!)
On another note, I saw this scary realisation …
Anyway, C’mere to me…

LinkedIn Paid Week Off 👔
LinkedIn has given the entire company this week off, from April 5th, as an “opportunity to unplug, recharge and avoid burnout” - read more.
Obviously, a few essential employees will remain looking after the site but they too will get their week off at some point soon.
I think it’s a very cool initiative, definitely something I need right now.
Comparing Vaccines 💉
Read this piece, by Vox, on why comparing different vaccines and their efficacy is misleading and doesn’t make one better than the other - see more.

Shipping Yourself 📦
The Irish Times had this pretty remarkable story yesterday about a Welsh man who wanted to escape from a job contract in Australia and decided the best way home was to ship himself in a box by airmail…
Things did not go to plan though… he was flown on a different route, the box was turned upside down and he ended up in Los Angeles with the FBI.
But, it was Brian’s two Irish friends, also working with Victorian Railways in Melbourne at the time, who actually helped him seal the crate shut and ship him off, and he is now on a mission to try and to find those two lads whom he hasn’t seen since.

Ultimate Guide to Getting Started in 35mm Film 📸🎞
I’m very, very excited (and nervous) to finally share it with you… if you do check it out over the next few weeks or at any stage in the future please let me know, I really hope it’s helpful!
I’ll elaborate another time but oh my days… it has been an insane amount of work, I’ve poured everything into it and I’ve completely and utterly burnt myself out in the process too 💀
Now, lots of work certainly doesn’t mean it’s any good, in fact, I’ve also never doubted my own ability, knowledge of a topic, or any other project quite so much as with this one, a very real imposter syndrome.
Nevertheless, I’ve learnt a crazy amount, so regardless it’ll be have been a worthwhile use of the last few months. Although I’ve had loads of other bits going on too, I actually started this at the end of October, during lockdown 2.0, and was expecting to have it finished by early December… oh how wrong I was 😅

Think 🌊
Everyone has experienced the disappointment of mixing all the colours together expecting to get some sort of super colour, it's an early lesson in less is more.
That’s all 🤙🏽
