Good Morning!
How are you doing? seriously though, I hope everyone is well.
The last few days have definitely been the hardest so far…
I had a lot of momentum going for the first two weeks with work and motivation, but I really miss being with friends, and the other day I certainly hit a wall.
That is okay though, these are difficult times, we mustn’t be hard on ourselves, and I know I’m a hypocrite in saying that but please don’t get yourself down for feeling like you haven’t conquered the world with all this extra time.
On the bright side, this week is already off to a cracking start, the creative juices are flowing strong, I can’t wait to show you a little of what I’ve been working on when we get beyond this pandemic.
Let’s all make a concerted effort to smile more, I think it will make the world of difference to our socially distant interactions.
Anyway, C’mere to me…
(packed full of things to consume today!)
A wee rant.
I’ve nothing incredibly insightful this week, normally I’m pretty on top of current affairs and little nuggets of interesting stories, but unfortunately, Twitter and the media in recent days has been a hard place to be…
The cynicism is upsetting, the worst people have come crawling out of their cracks like never before, to comment on absolutely everything, just when the world is on its knees.
Even in my day to day, I’ve been shocked by the general attitudes of narcissistic entitlement in shops and on the streets.
We’re all in this together, we are all here to help each other.
Thank you to all of the incredible humans working unbelievably hard on the front lines and in so many areas, some people don’t deserve your beautiful souls 💙💙
I do actually have some good news though… pun intended.
Smile 😊
If you haven’t already seen it, I highly recommend this.
Last week, John Krasinski started an initiative called Some Good News, which as the name suggests is all about sharing positive news stories from all over the world.
Episode one saw him video call Steve Carell and chat about The Office days, and now episode 2 is even better…
He surprised a young fan, firstly by introducing her to Mary Poppins, Emily Blunt is conveniently John’s wife, but then out of nowhere, on to the call, jump the original Broadway Hamilton cast led by Lin-Manuel himself, to sing the opening track of the acclaimed musical on a Zoom call.

Since you’re not up to much, go watch episode 1 as well, and then watch the documentary I’ve linked further down this email too 😋
More Smiles 😊
GoPro launched a campaign getting people to submit content under the hashtag #homepro, and some are fantastic, but this is next level,
Hands down one of the most creative things I have ever seen…

Watch 📹👀
Back in October, The North Face released an excellent documentary about a couple, Hilaree Nelson and Jim Morrison, who in 2018 submitted Lhotse with skis on their backs.
This is really excellent film is even sweeter if you’re into snowsports.
Lhotse is right next to Everest, the climb is just as hard if not harder, it is the 4th highest mountain in the world…
And they skied down…
The doc also really appreciates the Sherpas, giving an insight into their lives and their own incredible mountaineering feats.
I had completely forgotten about it until then it popped back up in my feed yesterday.

Think 🤔🤯🌊
When we're young, we sneak out of our house to go to parties. When we're old, we sneak out of parties to go home.
That’s all for now 🤙🏽
